2010-11 Oelwein Rotary Goals Membership Goal: 34 Service Goals: For our community: The club will distribute dictionaries to the third grade students in the public and parochial schools through the Dictionary Project. The club will sponsor a program involving residents from the Residential Facilities and the Oelwein Writer’s League to record Polio stories. For communities in other countries: The club will host a Group Study Exchange partner from New Zealand. Rotary Foundation Goals: Annual Programs Fund Goal $3000.00 End Polio Challenge Goal $1296.00 Our club will participate in the following Rotary Foundation programs:
Leadership Development Goals: The Board will delegate the planning and implementation of events and programs to the appropriate Committee members. Public Relations Goals: The club will be more visible to the community through newspaper articles and participation in community events. Club Administration Goals: Include the recitation of the Four Way Test at club meetings. Include informational video clips on Rotary during meal time at meetings. |
